JARED & ALLISON
Whether you know one of them or both of them, here is some more information about the bride and groom, how they fell in love, and what they want for a future loving marriage to each other.
HOW tHE COUPLE MET
Jared and Allison first met in 2020 at a party hosted by their mutual friend Dee Carver, but the interactions between the two were brief. 6 months or so later, Jared's best friend Alex Mereness (who was also Allison's coworker) set the two of them up on a blind date. Allison wasn't initially into the idea, but
a St Patricks Day brewery hopping day out with friends turned into everyone dwindling down and Jared and Allison being the last two people left closing down one of the local bars for the night. A parking lot kiss before each heading home sparked conversations for a lunch date the following day, and the rest is history.

Their Love of Travel & Adventure
Long before Jared and Allison fell in love with each other, they fell in love with adventure! Both were avid travelers, risk takers, and thrill seekers, so fitting into each other's hobbies and lifestyles was easier than most couples. When they aren't overnight camping in the wilderness or hiking up steep cliffsides, Jared and Allison still embody the idea of adventure in their everyday life. Some of their favorite dates include cooking new recipes, trying different breweries/distilleries, fishing (Jareds ideal date), and exploring with friends.

When asked separately by their elopement photographer, both Jared and Allison independently told her they knew they were falling in love with one other on their first vacation to Zion and Bryce Canyon National Parks. Since then, they have traveled to many amazing places including Alaska and Ireland, and have been to over 13 National Parks together globally.
tHE proposal
On a whim for Christmas, Jared and Allison purchased a mystery vacation package, and later got the phone call that they would be headed to Miami that coming February! On the last day of the trip after exploring Biscayne National Park, Jared scoped a gorgeous lighthouse on the beach and proposed an hour before they had to be at the airport. Allison cried so hard that Jared had to repeat what he even said to her in the car, and they frantically called family before boarding their flight home.

The real MVP of the day, though, was this random woman on the beach that Jared handed his phone to. She had no idea Jared was about to propose, but in classic Miami influencer fashion, she fixed both of their outfits and hair before taking what she though was just a normal photo of two people on the beach. Once she saw Jared bend the knee, she immediately started video taping the entire proposal! She even staged a mini-photo shoot for them on the beach with poses and location changes.

Jared and Allison fell in love in a National Park, got engaged just outside a National Park, and are even getting married at a National Park, so it is only fitting that the theme of the reception pays homage to the one thing this couple clearly loves and cherishes as much as each other, our National Parks.
